Your Credit Union Takes Green steps for a brighter tomorrow!

Coast360 has made a commitment early on to the members and the community to become an active partner in preserving our environment. The credit union was one of the first companies to support the earliest going green efforts with KUAM's Think Green Initiative that includes beach clean ups, public awareness messages on radio and TV, expositions as an educational outreach in the community. We partnered with the I-recycle program by purchasing green bags to support their aluminum recycling efforts that generates funding for our island schools.

Coast360 's commitment to save the earth is also extended on our daily business operations. The credit union rolled out its new website, chock-full of new features, sporting a new streamlined look and simpler functionality. Shortly after, the credit union launched its online bill payment service - CUiPay - enabling members to make payments to anyone, anytime, anywhere.

We recently kicked off our Go Green initiatives at the work place, by making changes in our daily work habits. Recycle bins for aluminum cans and plastic bottles have been placed in all employee service areas and all aluminum cans collected will then be donated to schools that participate in the I-recycle program. Newspapers and scratch papers are shredded regularly to be given to local farmers that they in turn use as mulch.

Other initiatives are also in the works to include banning the use of bottle water and Styrofoam in the work place.

Coast360 ’s eServices not only gives you the access to up-to-date financial information from the comfort of your own home; they help you reduce our environmental waste. Our credit union offers a wide selection of green-friendly products and services as part of a continued commitment to sustainability. Ask how to go green through CU eServices like CU Webbranch, CU iPay, CU byPhone, eStatements and much more.
